Lucille Clifton said, “You might as well answer the door my child, the truth is furiously knocking”.
Given this time of COVID-19, all the systemic racism, the economic hardships, all the altered plans, we must answer the door. We Christians are committed to being a transforming presence by enabling and empowering our brothers and sisters to live in hope and joy.
We can’t just wish or hope things away or wait to get back to normal. This challenging time is the
Spirit’s invitation to see with new eyes, to be personally converted and to act with justice.
